Bishop Christopher A. Johnson Sr. is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Zion Christian Ministries. Pastor Aaron Pitts is the Assistant Pastor of Zion Christian Ministries. He is first and foremost an assistant to the pastor. He assists the pastor in matters, concerns and functions of the church. He is the second line of authority after the pastor and stands in authority in absence of the pastor. He assists the discipleship ministry in the effective maturation of each member. Minister Davan Stroman has completed the ministerial licensure courses of the Ministers In Training (M.I.T.) program at Zion Christian Ministries. She received training from the annointed visionary of Zion, Bishop Chris Johnson. She learned to study and breakdown scripture truthfully according to the writer's interpretation and not her own, and to preach and teach the word as it is written. She handles our V.I.P. program which includes welcoming visitors to Zion and conducts member orientation. Minister Stroman also handles the booking of engagements for Bishop Johnson and all clergy of Zion. Fernard Hennings is a deacon at Zion and he is also the Minister of Fellowship at Zion Christian Ministries. He oversees each of the fellowship ministries which includes the Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Couple's Ministry and the Single's Ministry. The leaders of each of these ministries directly report to Deacon Hennings. He ensures that each ministry is functioning and operating according to the vision and purpose of Zion. He makes weekly reports directly to Bishop Chris Johnson regarding the fellowship ministries. Deacon Hennings is a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. | Sharon Hennings is the Women's Leader of Zion Christian Ministries. She is a strong and a mighty woman of God who exemplifies Him in every way. She is responsible for ministering strength and encouragement to the women of Zion. She has a positive attitude and uplifts every woman whether they are involved in a ministry or not. She intercedes not only for the women of Zion but the entire ministry as a whole. Sharon along with a team of other ladies of Zion, plans events and outings for the women of Zion. Lori Smith is the Minister of Discipleship at Zion Christian Ministries. She is responsible for the education and empowerment of every Zion member equipping them with the necessary tools to become disciples as well as to make them. She is the coordinator of Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, and Childrens' Church. Lori also has incorporated "Teacher Training" into the curriculm at Zion. The teacher training sessions are designed to eqip our teachers with the necessary skill set for them to teach according to the vision and purpose set forth by the pastor. Cynthia Hall is the Administrative Assistant of Zion Christian Ministries. She is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Zion and has many obligations. She is the developer of the official documents used by Zion and ensures that all aspects of Zion's business and/or official documents and transactions are performed as practically and professionally as possible. She is responsible for communicating various information between the pastor, the staff, core group, and the congregation as instructed by the pastor. Cynthia maintains and updates the membership database and also updates the website on a regular basis. She is also responsible for maintaining the financials of Zion. Donald Stewart is the Minister of Worship at Zion Christian Ministries. He is an anointed man of God with great musical talent and abilities. He creates the worship atmosphere for all services held at Zion Christian Ministires and he is also the musical director of Zion's band. Gary Stroman is the Minister of Services. He is responsible for the purpose of all "Ministry" within ZCM. These ministries inlcude the C.O.P. ministry (ushers, greeters, parking), building maintenance and upkeep, and any other service projects that may arise out of need. Sandra Baker serves as Trustee of Zion Christian Ministries and is a member of the Stewardship Ministry. She is an advisor to to the stewardship team for special projects or activities, and she also assists with the formation and develoment of official church guidelines and bylaws.
