I'm Not Who Used to Be
What does it really mean to be changed? Not just circumstantially, but at the core of who we are? This message takes us on a journey through one of the most relatable and raw stories in all of Scripture: the life of Peter. From his bold declarations to his crushing denials, from pulling a sword in a garden to lifting a lame man at a beautiful gate, Peter's story is not a highlight reel. It is a process. And that process is exactly the point. Change is inevitable, but growth is a choice. We can go through storms, loss, betrayal, and failure and come out the other side exactly who we were when we went in. Or we can surrender to the hand of God in the middle of it all and come out transformed. The message reminds us that the same storm that knocks a tree down is the same storm that drives its roots deeper. The question is never whether change will come. The question is whether we will grow through it.
