All Grown Up
As we celebrate our 18th anniversary, we're called to embrace spiritual maturity and step into the fullness of God's calling. The sermon draws parallels between our church's growth stages and human development, reminding us that at 18, we're no longer spiritual teenagers. We're challenged to leave behind childish ways, as Paul urges in 1 Corinthians 13:11. This transition demands that we guard our conversations, recognizing that our words reveal our maturity. We're encouraged to present ourselves as 'living sacrifices' (Romans 12:1), actively engaged in our faith journey rather than passively observing. This message invites us to reflect on our personal growth, urging us to move beyond spiritual infancy and adolescence, and step confidently into the responsibilities and blessings of spiritual adulthood.
