Who's on Your Altar?
In this powerful message, we're challenged to examine who or what is truly on the altar of our hearts. Drawing from Acts 17, where Paul addresses the Athenians about their 'unknown god', we're prompted to reflect on our own understanding and relationship with God. Are we worshipping in ignorance, or do we truly know the God we serve? This sermon urges us to move beyond mere religiosity to a genuine, personal relationship with our Creator. It reminds us that God is not distant, but intimately involved in our lives - He knows our names, our needs, and our struggles. As we contemplate this, we're called to repentance and to place God back on the throne of our lives, removing any idols we may have unknowingly erected. This message is a wake-up call for us to evaluate our priorities and ensure that our worship is directed towards the true, living God who desires a deep, meaningful connection with each of us.
