Are We Going in the Same Direction?
This powerful message challenges us to examine a fundamental question that affects every area of our lives: Are we going in the same direction? Drawing from Amos 3:3 and Genesis 3:6, we're invited to explore how our partnerships, friendships, relationships, and leadership roles require alignment and shared vision. The sermon unpacks the story of Adam and Eve in the garden, asking the provocative question of why Eve was having a dialogue with Satan alone, and whether Adam was present but silent or in a different location. This leads us to examine our own lives—are we allowing conversations with the enemy to happen when we should be unified with those God has placed beside us? The message identifies three critical insights: curiosity sometimes creates consequences, calculative conversations cause complications, and carelessness causes catastrophes. We're reminded that healthy homes build healthy churches, and that we must be intentional about who we're partnering with in life's journey. Whether in marriage, ministry, business, or friendship, we need accountability partners who are traveling toward the same divine destination. The call is clear: we must stop walking with those who pull us away from God's purpose and instead align ourselves with people who share our commitment to grow spiritually and fulfill the assignments God has placed on our lives.
